Description
The Washington National Cathedral is well worth stopping at when visiting Washington Dc. The Stained Glass Windows in the Main Nave and Mosaics in the chapels are incredible. When photographing them, I recommend trying to pick out some of the images in the windows that you enjoy vice trying to photograph the entire window. This window shows Joshua with part of his shield. The shield represents God's willingness to make the sun stand still for Joshua. This window is located in the Crypt, South Aisle, South Wall. To the left of Joshua is Moses (not shown in this photograph) which makes up this two-lancet window. It is Stained Glass Window #2 in my Washington National Cathedral Collection.
