Description
The Washington National Cathedral is well worth stopping at when visiting Washington Dc. The Stained Glass Windows in the Main Nave and Mosaics in the chapels are incredible. When photographing them, I recommend trying to pick out some of the images in the windows that you enjoy vice trying to photograph the entire window. This window shows rays of holiness radiating from Moses' head signifying that he was in the presence of the Lord. This window is located in the Crypt, South Aisle, South Wall. To the right of Moses is Joshua (not shown in this photograph) which makes up this two-lancet window. It is Stained Glass Window #1 in my Washington National Cathedral Collection.
