When I'm at the Outer Banks of North Carolina, I always make it a point to photograph Bodie Lighthouse. The conditions are always different each time I go there. On this particular occasion the sound was saturated from recent rains allowing me to photograph the reflection of the lighthouse in the standing water
About Dennis Kowalewski
My love of the outdoors and interest in photography goes back many years. I've always enjoyed photographing landscapes and nature and sharing what I've seen with other people. Like many photographers, I was never happy with the processing done at my local lab and my interest in photography dipped for several years until the advent of digital cameras. I was extremely excited about digital photography and jumped on the opportunity to go digital with a Nikon D300, my first digital camera. My enthusiasm for photographing the outdoors was back and have been enjoying it immensely. When the Nikon D800 with its full frame sensor was released, I upgraded. I do all my own digital processing with Adobe Photoshop Lightroom and NIK software and...
