I was photographing the cherry trees along the Tidal Basin in Washington DC and happened to find this cat enjoying the cherry tree. His master let him on the limb to rest and avoid the crowds. I think the cat was pretty smart since he had the best seat in the house!
About Dennis Kowalewski
My love of the outdoors and interest in photography goes back many years. I've always enjoyed photographing landscapes and nature and sharing what I've seen with other people. Like many photographers, I was never happy with the processing done at my local lab and my interest in photography dipped for several years until the advent of digital cameras. I was extremely excited about digital photography and jumped on the opportunity to go digital with a Nikon D300, my first digital camera. My enthusiasm for photographing the outdoors was back and have been enjoying it immensely. When the Nikon D800 with its full frame sensor was released, I upgraded.
