Northeast Harbor is a village on Mount Desert Island, located in the town of Mount Desert in Hancock County, Maine, United States. On my 2018 Spring trip to Acadia National Park, I passed this overlook of Northeast Harbor several times before I was lucky to have a nice sun and some clouds that really made the scene pop for me.
About Dennis Kowalewski
My love of the outdoors and interest in photography goes back many years. I've always enjoyed photographing landscapes and nature and sharing what I've seen with other people. Like many photographers, I was never happy with the processing done at my local lab and my interest in photography dipped for several years until the advent of digital cameras. I was extremely excited about digital photography and jumped on the opportunity to go digital with a Nikon D300, my first digital camera. My enthusiasm for photographing the outdoors was back and have been enjoying it immensely. When the Nikon D800 with its full frame sensor was released, I upgraded.
