If you visit the Outer Banks, make sure you stop in at Corolla and visit Whalehead Club. Whalehead Club is a beautifully restored 1920s Art Nouveau style residence that is open to the public for museum tours. On this particular visit to Whalehead Club, I was able to capture the warm glow of the setting sun illuminating the building. Currituck Beach Lighthouse can also be seen while visiting Whalehead Club.
About Dennis Kowalewski
My love of the outdoors and interest in photography goes back many years. I've always enjoyed photographing landscapes and nature and sharing what I've seen with other people. Like many photographers, I was never happy with the processing done at my local lab and my interest in photography dipped for several years until the advent of digital cameras. I was extremely excited about digital photography and jumped on the opportunity to go digital with a Nikon D300, my first digital camera. My enthusiasm for photographing the outdoors was back and have been enjoying it immensely. When the Nikon D800 with its full frame sensor was released, I upgraded.
