It consists of 56 pillars and a pair of small arches surrounding a plaza and fountain, it sits on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. between the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument.
My love of the outdoors and interest in photography goes back many years. I've always enjoyed photographing landscapes and nature and sharing what I've seen with other people. Like many photographers, I was never happy with the processing done at my local lab and my interest in photography dipped for several years until the advent of digital cameras.
