A must see for anyone visiting Washington DC is the Washington National Cathedral. The architecture of the cathedral is incredible and boasts 215 stained glass windows. This is a photo of the "Founding of a New Nation" - a stained glass clerestory window above the George Washington Bay in the south nave of the Washington National Cathedral. Red symbolizes bloodshed. All monies from the sales of this photo will be donated to the National Cathedral to help pay for the damage sustained from the August 2011 earthquake.
