Jefferson Memorial Sunrise Canvas Print

I was fortunate enough to be down at the Tidal Basin on this particular day to catch the sun between the two branches of the cherry tree and a very light mist burning off the water of the Tidal Basin in front of the Jefferson Memorial. My love of the outdoors and interest in photography goes back many years. I've always enjoyed photographing landscapes and nature and sharing what I've seen with other people. Like many photographers, I was never happy with the processing done at my local lab and my interest in photography dipped for several years until the advent of digital cameras. I was extremely excited about digital photography and jumped on the opportunity to go digital with a Nikon D300, my first digital camera.
