Wedding Cake Waterfall Canvas Print

This is not one of the named waterfalls on the Falls Trail at Ricketts Glen State Park. The falls is to the right of the first bridge you cross over on the Ganoga Glen section of the trail. It reminded me of a wedding cake. For this particular shot, I was standing in the water and shot it with my wide angle lens. Thank goodness I had gortex hiking boots.

My love of the outdoors and interest in photography goes back many years. I've always enjoyed photographing landscapes and nature and sharing what I've seen with other people. Like many photographers, I was never happy with the processing done at my local lab and my interest in photography dipped for several years until the advent of digital cameras. I was extremely excited about digital photography and jumped on the opportunity to go digital with a Nikon D300, my first digital camera.
